1 Day. 75 miles. 9,640 feet of elevation gain. Mountain bike the scenic Colorado Trail in the San Juan Mountains from Molas Pass along the continental divide to Durango..

Each rider will be required to fill out a Model release form stating that any pictures taken while participating in Jamboree activities can be used without their permission.A liability release form must also be signed stating that the ride, the ride organizers or its sponsors are in no way responsible for anything that may happen to your person, gear--or your feelings.

Why

This demanding MTB Endurance race will benefit Edwards, Colorado based Heuga Center, a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping people and families living with multiple sclerosis gain the health and understanding needed to live full, productive lives with this incurable disease. Additionally, 5% of proceeds will support to the Colorado Trail Foundation and Trails 2000 to continue our support of this precious national landmark and vital natural resource for our state-Colorado Trail.

When

Saturday, August 2nd 2008. Starting at 5:30 am

Where

Near Durango, Colorado, the ride begins at Molas pass in the center of the San Juan Mountains. Riders head south on the Colorado Trail toward an area known as Hotel Draw where a support station will check split times and provide refreshments. After split times and re-supply, riders head south into the La Plata Mountains and the final rigorous stretch of the Colorado Trial. A post-ride party for all CTC and CTJ riders will be held Sunday night at 6:00 in Durango to celebrate the experience of riding perhaps the finest stretch of alpine single track on the planet!
